About Us

Seawell's is a family owned and operated catering business that has been in existence in Columbia since 1946. Once a well known restaurant, now Seawell's provides catering for private events such as office parties, cocktail receptions, weddings, trade shows, business seminars and banquets of all types. Seawell's not only offers its services in their own 30,000 square foot facility located at 1125 Rosewood Drive, but at off-site locations as well.

Seawell's Banquet and Reception Center first opened its doors in January of 1999. Since opening its doors, Seawell's has averaged over 700 events a year at its new location. The banquet hall is approximately 15,000 square feet and can seat up to 1,000 people. The banquet hall can also be divided into six different rooms that allows us to host a number of events at the same time. 

Seawell's has not only been a favorite of the Columbia area since its opening, but has also played host to many important visitors to our city. In early 2000, Seawell's hosted the Republican Presidential Debate which was viewed world-wide on Larry King Live on the CNN cable network. Seawell's has also had the honor of catering events that have been attended by the last seven Presidents of the United States.

Seawell's is centrally located just 2 miles from downtown Columbia, within a 10 to 15 minute drive of I-20, I-26 and I-77. The main parking lot has parking for over 260 vehicles with additional parking for over 300 more vehicles in fenced-in lots located on both sides of the main lot.
